Crystal Carreon, crime reporter at the Sacramento Bee, was scheduled to
give a talk on the above topic. Unfortunately, crime reporters are
vulnerable to events beyond their control, specifically deadlines. In the

discussion, moderated by Bill Potts, on her planned topic. As usual,
several of the fifteen HAGSA members present showed a considerable
understanding of juvenile justice and of the broader societal issues of
which the juvenile justice system, with all its imperfections, is but one
symptom.
