Using a visual presentation, our speaker, who is a member of the Crocker Art Museum’s board of directors, presented the history of Edwin Bryant Crocker and his wife Margaret, the founder of the Museum. She then took us on a fascinating and entertaining tour of the construction and the internal, external, and organizational changes to the Museum, which has been undergoing a threefold expansion. We and the rest of the public will have an opportunity on October 10, the official opening day of the large and impressive new wing, to see and tour the real thing.
