MembershipYou can also renew on line! Membership is open to all who are in general agreement with Humanist principles, as described in Humanist Manifesto III. A brief summary of those principles is provided in the Welcome message on the home page of this site. HAGSA is a Membership Chapter of the American Humanist Association (AHA), which means that all members are members of both the AHA and HAGSA. Applications for membership must be submitted to the AHA, with an indication that you want HAGSA to be your local chapter. Warning! If you wish to make a donation to HAGSA, don't use the link (below) to the On-line AHA Application/Renewal form. Donations to HAGSA should be made directly to HAGSA by credit card, debit card, PayPal, check or money order. Checks and money orders should either be mailed to the HAGSA address on the Contact page or given to the treasurer or other board member at meetings. To donate now by credit card, debit card, or PayPal, click on the button below. On-Line Application/RenewalTo apply or renew on line, using a credit card, please click on the following link: On-Line AHA Membership Application/Renewal Note: This is a new form. The old form allowed you to specify the Membership Chapter of which you also wanted to be a member. This one doesn't (yet). To ensure that you become a member of both the AHA and HAGSA, please let us know via email at membership@hagsa.org. We'll let the AHA know. (Alternatively, you can call the AHA at 1-866-486-2647.) Mail ApplicationBecause of the way the AHA now structures membership applications, the mail application form is undergoing revision. The new version will be available here very soon. Mail RenewalTo renew by mail, please respond to the notice you will receive (or have received) from the AHA.
