MembershipMembership is open to all who are in general agreement with Humanist principles, as described in Humanist Manifesto III. A brief summary of those principles is provided in the Welcome message on the home page of this site. HAGSA is a Chapter of the American Humanist Association (AHA). If you wish to make a donation to HAGSA, you may make it directly by credit card, debit card, PayPal, check or money order. Checks and money orders should either be mailed to the HAGSA address on the Contact page or given to the treasurer or other board member at meetings. Please note the following. The American Humanist Association has terminated its Membership Chapter program. What were previously Membership Chapters and Chartered Chapters are now simply Chapters. Your AHA and HAGSA dues will once more be separate. We expect to provide the means to renew online. In the meantime, please note the new rates, below.
Special Note: Even though HAGSA membership will no longer be tied to AHA membership, HAGSA members who are not AHA members will still enjoy the member discount in the registration fee for AHA annual conferences. Also, HAGSA members who are already Life Members of the AHA will have lifetime memberships in HAGSA. Although lifetime members will have no annual dues, we will still welcome donations.
